Mrs. Avers

I am the school psychologist for Eisenhower, Westwood, Franklin, Washington and Grandview Elementary.

I earned my Education Specialist Degree for School Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I am in my ninth year as a school psychologist.

In my profession I work with children, teachers, parents, and other professionals to help improve student’s educational environments. I enjoy participating on a variety of teams that are focused on helping children to learn. I primarily work with students who are in need of specialized instruction or services. I enjoy being part of a team who’s focus is to help kids learn and to advocate for a better education for all children. With five schools I can be at many different places on any given day, which adds to the variety and challenges of my job.

When I am not at my profession, I enjoy spending time with my two children, Sidney and Braden, and my husband Jamie.
