Mrs. Day

My name is Christine Day and I’m the music specialist this year for grades, first, second, third and fourth here at Eisenhower. This is my eight year at Eisenhower and previous to teaching here, I taught twenty years in Wamego, Kansas. I’m a transplant to Kansas from Iowa being raised in Sioux City and going to college at Iowa State.

I have two children, Meghann, who graduated from Kansas State University and Joshua, who graduated from the University of Kansas. Both of my children live in Los Angeles, California.

I live out in the Flint Hills area with my husband Tom, one horse, one dog and several cats. Our district has adopted the nine national standards of music education for the music curriculum so the music room is busy with melodious and harmonious activities.
