Mrs. Smith

Hello!  My name is Deanne Smith, and I am your child’s kindergarten teacher for the year 2008-2009.  Although this is my first year at Eisenhower Elementary, I have taught 1^st grade in Texas and early childhood in Junction City.  I have taught a total of 5 ½ years. I am very excited about teaching kindergarten this year!

I am married to a wonderful  man who is a medic in the Army.  We have been in the Ft. Riley area for 3 years and hope to retire here.  I have 7 step children, one who currently lives with us.  My family also consists of 2 spoiled dogs and 2 fickle cats. 

I am working on my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. Besides working and graduate school, I love to read, watch movies, and play games.
