Mrs. Ensley

Hello!

     My name is Jessica Ensley, and I will be your child’s kindergarten teacher for the 2007-2008 school year!  Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to share this very special year of your child’s life!

      This is my third year as a Kindergarten teacher.  This is the second year I have been at Eisenhower Elementary.    I have taught in the Olathe and Shawnee Mission school districts from the Kansas City area.  I graduated from Kansas State University and Manhattan Christian College.  My husband and I came back to live in Manhattan!  Our dog, Kiah, is getting to experience the joy of K-State Wildcats and we are all thrilled to call Manhattan and Junction City “home.”

     This year your child will be considered one of “Mrs. Ensley’s Kinder-Roos.”  Our Kinder-Roos will be learning how to write their names, identify their colors, numbers, shapes, letters, and sounds, enjoy stories, exercise their bodies and their minds, sing and make beautiful music, work in “learning labs” that focus on math, science, literacy, make believe, technology and creative arts, and make new friends by learning how to effectively and appropriately interact with others.  This year will be quite an adventure, oftentimes exciting, sometimes scary, and NEVER dull!
