Mrs. Malec

         Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year.  My name is Karen Malec, and I am one of the 5^th grade teachers at Eisenhower.  I am proud and excited to be starting my 29^th year of teaching. 

          Eisenhower Elementary is a warm and caring school.  The staff and students are the best!  Everyone works hard to use the Life Skills and follow the school motto . . . “I Believe in Myself I can Succeed.” Being an Eisenhower Eagle makes coming to work a pleasure.

          Fifth grade is always an exciting year.  Eagle Patrol, DARE, and Fifth Grade V.S. Faculty Kickball Game are some activities that fifth graders look forward to.  They also enjoy their first course in history as well as discovering all about their environment at EEE Day and at Twin Lakes Water Festival.   

          To my parents:  Thanks for sharing your child with me this school year.  I look forward to working together with you to make this the best school year ever.
